Knowledge base
Where the work starts — the first tab, holding the background material the AI reads. The more you put here first, the more accurate everything else gets.

In one line: the knowledge base (⌘1) is where you pile up material before writing anything, which is exactly why it sits first in the tab row. Drop in the company intro, the requirements and reference links, and everything the AI builds afterwards is grounded in that material.
Knowledge base
A place to collect background material for the AI to reference — company info, requirements, reference links, gathered ahead of time.
Grounding
Making the AI base its output on the material *you* provided instead of guessing. The better your material, the more accurate the result.

⌘0The tabs run left to right in the order you work. The knowledge base leads, and grounds everything after it.
What you put here becomes the AI's grounding for everything else — drop in background, requirements and reference links first and the later output gets noticeably more accurate. Leave it empty and the AI has nothing to go on but generalities.
Which files can go in
Documents — .pdf, .docx (Word), .pptx, .xlsx, .hwpx (Korean 한글), .md, .txt, .csv. The text is read out and handed to the AI.
Images — .png, .jpg, .webp. Shown to the AI as pictures (a scan has no text layer, so a text PDF works better).
Web links — paste a URL and the readable body is pulled out and stored.
Old-format 한글 .hwp cannot be read yet. It is the most common format in Korea, but the pre-2010 binary layout gives nothing to extract — in 한글, use Save As → .hwpx or Save as PDF and upload that. The same goes for legacy .doc / .xls / .ppt. Anything that cannot be read says why, in red, in the list.
This is the best place to fill in first. Try this.
Organize background
“Organize this company intro and the key requirements into the knowledge base.”
Once the material is in, move one tab right to Research (⌘2). If the knowledge base is what you already know, Research is what you still need to check outside.
What goes in the knowledge base?
Background the AI should know — company intro, requirements, reference links. The earlier you fill it, the more accurate the results.
Do I have to fill it first?
Not required — but with nothing to reference the AI falls back on generic wording. Even two or three paragraphs change the result noticeably.
